The BMW M Festival, hosted by BMW South Africa, is set to return for its second edition at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Johannesburg from October 26 to 27, 2019. The 2017 festival attracted nearly 20,000 BMW enthusiasts and car fans. This year, the festival promises to be even more thrilling with six BMW M and M Performance models making their local premiere, including the new BMW X3 M Competition, BMW X4 M Competition, BMW M340i xDrive, BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe, BMW X6, and BMW 1 Series.
The festival offers attendees the opportunity to test drive BMW vehicles, experience hot laps with professional drivers, explore a large BMW pop-up showroom with finance offers, enjoy gourmet food, live music, and a children’s play area, and shop for BMW Lifestyle merchandise. South African-born BMW works driver, Sheldon van der Linde, will make a special appearance and provide hot laps in his Shell BMW M4 DTM car. Additionally, the restored BMW 530 MLE will be unveiled to the public at the festival.
For G&G Productions, who organized the BMW M Festival 2019, this event highlights the appeal of celebrating BMW’s M brand and engaging car enthusiasts. It demonstrates the significance of hosting events that showcase the latest BMW models and provide an experiential platform for customers and fans.
